I recently meet with an American girl called Brittany who works for Massive PR in Belfast - Brittany was telling me about this place and their burgers and I quickly added it to my ever growing hit list - which is in-turn quickly growing my waistline! Whoops. Fast forward to last Wednesday and I got an email inviting me to none other than... Kua 'Aina for a Hawaiian Themed Christmas Party. Aloha

Let's start with the interior - funky, cool and very Hawaiian - the bar, the shacks, even the art work all create a little haven in often manic Victoria Square - the fact that it is set back a little helps to remove you from the busy bustle of a shopping complex.

The food! Holy Smokes - think of a topping, add it to a burger, dive in - it's as simple as that - Sensational!

So the menu offers more than just burgers (however if you don't get a burger you're dead to me) here you can find Coconut King Prawns, Super Salads, American Pancakes and more - what they also do is cater very well for vegetarians making excellent use of portobello mushrooms, avocado and grilled Halloumi to name a few ingredients.

To the Burgers - outrageous behaviour, you can actually create your own burger - you write it they make it - super fun and super tasty! I created The BFB Burger - Brioche bap, 6oz beef burger - garlic mayo, sautéed onions, sweet red peppers and Jack Monterey Cheese topped off with Lettuce and a beef tomato - P.S. all burgers come with skin in fries and a pickle! I struggled to think of a better burger I've tried?

For the blog...I also tried a few other things, Laurie Created a chicken burger called BBQ Surprise, chicken, bacon, brie and BBQ sauce, I had a sneaky bite - ohh sweet jesus - this was tasty too! The staff were also handing out some tasters to try, I had a bite of, wait for it, The Marmite Burger...verdict - Hawmazing, it was soooo smokey, I loved it - I'd def order it. Here's a few more images to get your mouth watering and your belly grumbling - mines grumbling actually - no idea how, all I do is eat...

Here we have @laurielovesblog BBQ Surprise, The Pineapple and a Tuna, Portobello and Avocado Burger - seriously this place is that good! In fact, here's the menu;

I can' really say much more than - GO HERE NOW - I am struggling to find any negatives, I really am, friendly staff, cool uniforms, amazing burgers, great sides and the ability to create a burger, in effect you become a Burger God.

Many thanks to Massive PR for the invite, this is the first time I have worked with this PR company and I really hope we have a chance to do so again, especially with invites like this!
