Hello or should I say woof - and welcome to the first ever BDFB post - BDFB standing for Belfast Dog Food Blogger...obviously! So I was recently; through the help of a friend - Harlso the balancing hound (look him up) sent some treats for Harry and Nelson from the local Pet Food Company - Naturo Pet Foods.
Naturo-lly the boys were very excited to see what new treats had arrived, and even more excited to see that they were locally produced, made from 100% natural ingredients and that there were soft options - they've just had some dental work so the Liver Brownies were their fav!
Naturo very generously sent us 5 items from their product range - Liver and Cranberry Biscotti, Lamb and Rice Bones (also enjoyed by Charlie & Murphy - my mum's schnauzers) Liver Brownies and 2 portions of their Pet Food range - Salmon and Rice and Lamb and Rice both served with vegetables!
Harry who has had an input into this blog recalled his delight at first trying the new range of products;
"well my personal favourites were the Liver Brownies, I usually enjoy one of these after my evening walk - to be honest it's the only thing that gets me through the walk"
Nelson on the other hand (a serial eater) was keen on them all;
"the biscotti are superb, they really taste go..."
it was at this point that Nelson saw a passing dog at our window and had to go and say hello - 43 high pitched barks later he returned to finish the quote after a Laurie gave a subtle "TREAT" call - he refused to talk any further but he polished off two more biscotti in record time!
All in all - the boys really enjoyed the treats, they devoured their meals and are looking forward to their next helping of Naturo Pet Food! But who are Naturo?

A team of hound lovers it's clear that planning and love go in to all their products - my boys truly enjoyed them and I was happier knowing that they were getting natural treats rather that processed.
